Betty Binkley

BINKLEY, Betty Crowe "Nanny" - Age 83 of Goodlettsville died Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Binkley, Jr.; parents, Major John W. and Mrs. Bertie Crowe; infant daughter, Peggy Jean Binkley; sisters, Bee Reece, Thelma "Tancie" Marcunos. She is survived by her children, John Binkley, Jeff Binkley, Julie Dorris (Bob), Judy Hollon (Richard), sister, Johnnie Mae Reynolds (John Jr.); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and her beloved pet, Honey. Betty was a nurse at Nashville Memorial Hospital for 12 years. She attended Goodlettsville Southern Methodist Church. Her remains are at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, where visitation will be on Thursday from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2007 at the funeral home with Dr. Ron Carrier officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the Pioneer Sunday School class of the Goodlettsville Southern Methodist Church. Active pallbearers are David Whitaker, Bo Reece, Don Nolen, James Ragan, Bryce Binkley and Curt Binkley. Interment at Spring Hill Cemetery.
