Bette Pippin Thomasson – Jan 7, 1926 – Feb 26, 2008
Daughter of the late Robert Pippin and Margaret Izora Smith.
Preceded in death by husband James Morton Thomasson and sons Kerry Randall Thomasson, Kelly Joe Thomasson and Charles Wayne Thomasson. Sister, Gloria Jean Boyd and Brother, Robert Pippin.
Survived by daughters, Jill Thomasson McClain and Gloria Cox, Randy of Nashville. Her Sister: Judy Tuttle Stan of Nashville. Her Brothers: Blanton Smith Nancy of Nashville, M. Packard Smith Cathy of California, Tony Thomasson Fran of North Carolina, Morton Thomasson Helen of Tennessee. Her Granddaughter, Holly Darden Hail, of Nashville and all her precious nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her Cherished Friends: Faye Smith of Nashville, Sue Carney-Kulig of Florida, Dr. Jennifet Oakley of Nashville, Melissa Hosp Memphis, Linda Calloway of Texas, Mike McKay of Texas and Dirk Edmunds of Arkansas.

Mrs. Thomasson, affectionally called Aunt Bette, was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt as well as an accomplished songwriter. Bette will be sadly missed by her friends and family. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. February 29, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
