Bessie Toungette

TOUNGETTE, Bessie Whittaker age 90. Passed away March 23, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertie Haley. She was born and raised in Macon County, TN. She was known to her family and friends as Granny. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She brought special love and joy to the hearts of all her family and friends, with her uplifting spirit and outlook on life. She will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by sons, Allen Mary Toungette, Joe Juanita Toungette, Ronnie Darlene Toungette; daughter, Mary George Williams; sisters, Grace Ward, Mary Rushing; brother, W.B. Haley; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with the Reverend Jay Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews and family friends.
