THOMPSON, Barbara Louise Kragel, age 56, of Hendersonville, May 11, 2007. Mrs. Thompson was born in Louisville, KY and grew up in Lexington, KY where she graduated from Lexington Catholic High School. She made her mark in Hendersonville while serving as front desk secretary at Indian Lake Elementary School for the past 19 years. She is survived by her husband, MG Stephen B. Thompson, son, Ryan Courtney Thompson, of Hendersonville, daughter, Andrea Chad Barger, of Knoxville, grandchildren, Ainsley and Devin Thompson, and Grant Barger, parents, Charles and Audrey Kragel, of Lexington, KY, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. Special thanks to the physicians and staff of Tennessee Oncology and Centennial Hospital for their exceptional care given to the family. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, May 14, 2007 from 12-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Allen of the St. Joseph of Arimathea Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation www.minniepearl.org , or to Indian Lake Elementary School.
