Barbara Dye

Dye, Barbara Lawrence, 75, October 12, 2007. Barbara loved the Lord and served Him as she ministered so beautifully in the lives of children and all she knew, serving faithfully as a Sunday School teacher for 58 years through the Charlotte Ave. Church of Christ. Praise God for taking her worn out body and making it new again to praise Him forever in heaven at our Lord and Savior's return. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Vera Lawrence; brothers, Frank and John Lawrence; sister, Evelyn Hibler. She was a faithful and loving wife of 48 years to Jack T. Dye. Also survived by sons, Kevin Tammie Dye, Wade Terry Dye; grandchildren, Brittnea Dye, Bethany Joe Kachelman, Brad Dye; sister, Patricia Sholey; many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Daryl Blankenship and Frank Mayo officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Charlotte Ave Church of Christ Missions or Leanna Church of Christ, Brittnea Dye Missions.
