Mrs. Janette Knight, 74, of Cottontown, passed away on February 17, 2017. She was born on May 2, 1942 to the late James and Mildred Daugherty.
Mrs. Janette was born in Nashville,TN. She married the love of her life, Homer Earl Knight, Jr. on May 19, 1961, and they had three children. Mrs. Janette loved children and spending her time watching television. Her favorite shows were Young and The Restless, Family Feud, and Dancing with the Stars. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making baby dresses. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Homer Earl Knight, Jr.; three children, Debbie Butterworth, Jay Knight (Shauna), and Jeff Knight (Nesha); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Daugherty and Karen Gibson; and one brother, Tom Daugherty.
A celebration of life will be held 2pm Monday, February 20 at Cole and Garrett in White House. Visitation will be held 12-2pm prior to service time at the funeral home.
