Athalene Cantrell

Athalene M. Cantrell, age 88, of Goodlettsville, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville for aproximately 60 years.

Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Cantrell; her parents; and sisters, Elma and Lucille.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Cantrell (Beverly); 2 grandsons, Jackie and Jesse Cantrell; 3 great grandchildren, Tristen, Caitlyn and Bailey; sister, Grace Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Wednesday and from 10am-12pm Thursday at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Bro. Terry Howser and Bro. Lyle Larson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
