McCONNELL, Anthony Kay (Tony) age 65, lifelong resident of the community of Shackle Island, relieved of his earthly duties and has went to be with his Lord and Savior. Passed December 31, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Samuel and Mable Demmie McConnell; sisters, Helen Page, Dorothy Frost, Ruby McConnell; brothers, George Sonny McConnell, James McConnell. Survived by wife Linda (Sisco) McConnell of 46 years of marriage; children; sons James Alan (Amy) McConnell, Barry Kay McConnell. Daughter; Stacy Lynn (Jacob) Gardner. Grandchildren; Alana (Jake) McGuire, Alyssa (Jeremy) Heuck, Austin (Savannah) McConnell, Micheala Ainsley Gardner, and Jada Noelle Gardner. GreatGrand Children; Aaliyah River McConnell and Gunner Bleu Heuck; sisters, Ever Will Swafford, Mable (David) Brown, Betty (Melvin) Kirkham, *twin sister* Alta (Tommy) Lanius; brothers, Roy (Nan) McConnell, Charles McConnell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Sunday 2-8PM & Monday 12-2PM until service time at 2pm with Norman Slate officiating. Pallbearers: Alan McConnell, Barry McConnell, Austin McConnell, Jacob Gardner, Jake McGuire, Jeremy Heuck, Bryan Davidson, Charlie McConnell, Jr. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
