Anthony Francis

Anthony Wayne Francis “T-Bone” born January 16, 1980, died tragically on January 15, 2023. Tony loved hard, worked hard and played hard. He never met a stranger thanks to his gift of gab, perhaps he got that from his Uncle Kenny. Tony would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had a hard life but his love, his wife, Sharla helped him settle down and always stood by him in good times and bad. He loved doing anything outside including grilling, “the grill master” He loved his dog Chevy.

Tony worked construction of various types through the years and was very good at it.

He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana and relocated to Fargo, North Dakota at 16 with his mom. From there back to Indianapolis and finally settled in Millersville, Tennessee where he made his home with his wife Sharla and his two youngest daughters Maddy and Lilly.

Tony loved his girls, even when not present. Tony loved his family and he loved his friends. He was immensely proud of his 3 younger brothers, even if he wasn’t able to express it.

Tony is survived by his wife Sharla, their two daughters Maddy and Lilly, daughters Topaz, Abigail and Angelina, his mother Cheryl Brant, Dent, Minnesota, who loved him fiercely, and unconditionally as only a parent can, brothers Alex Brant (Jaden), Henderson, Nevada, Nick Brant, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Matthew Brant, Fargo, North Dakota, his sister Chris Francis, Indianapolis, Indiana. His dad Wayne Francis, (Arlene), Kentucky, cousins Amber, Jasmine and Robert, Indianapolis, Indiana. His maternal grandfather, Terry Bohall, Indianapolis, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his Aunt Lindi, Uncle Kenny, Aunt Vicky, Uncle Rodney and his paternal grandfather Don Francis; and paternal grandmothers, Minnie Francis and Opal Capps.

A celebration of life will be held at 11am, Friday, January 20th at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Family will receive friends from 9-11am.

We pray that they were all there to greet him so he wasn’t alone. Tony, you will be so missed. We loved you so much.
