Annette Walker, age 79 of Madison, passed away on July 13, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents George & Viola Walker; sister, Betty Jean Walker; and double first-cousins Jack & Emily Walker.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her dear and devoted friends Garry Nash and Joe Bentley and double first cousin Paul (Joyce) Walker.

She is a graduate of Goodlettsville High School and received her Bachelor of Education from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. She worked for many years for the Metro School System. After retiring she worked for the City of Goodlettsville and become the Founder of Goodlettsville Senior Spirits where she would fulfill her true passion by teaching art classes. Annette was a member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church.

A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 2pm in the Chapel of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, from 4-8pm then again on Thursday from 12pm until the time of Service.
