Anne Nell Sheppard, age 102 passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Goodlettsville. Born in Martha, TN on August 18, 1914, she was the daughter of Thomas Marvin and Flora Irene Joslin Bradley. She married Richard Wryland Sheppard in 1936.

Anne was a Postal & Vital Statistics Clerk for the State of Tennessee. She was active in Eastern Star and enjoyed the Flower Club. She was also an accomplished artist and made trips to Europe to hone her craft. She was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was one of the "Beech Nuts", a group of ladies who made many trips together.

She is survived by three children, Anne W. Dorris of Gallatin, Richard C. Sheppard and Glenn N. Sheppard both of Goodlettsville; one brother, Dayton Reese "Jack" Bradley; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976 and six siblings, Lavica Frances Bradley, Maybell Taylor, Marvorene Kiesling, Bessie Lou Kirk, Mary Elizabeth Ford and Thomas T. "Tommy" Bradley.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 20th at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Cole & Garrett in Goodlettsville with Rev. Pat Freudenthal and Rev. Mary Noble Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 5-7 P.M. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
