Anne Richardson

RICHARDSON, Anne Wells – Age 90 years, passed away September 4, 2013. Anne was a member of the Western Hills Church of Christ and a longtime member of Cheekwood, where she loved walking in their gardens, and dining in the Pineapple Room. She will be remembered for her love of animals, especially Cats. Anne retired after many years of federal service as the Director of Human Resources with the USPS. Preceded in death by husband, Paul W. Richardson; parents, Ocie and Oscar Wells; beloved sister, Becky Wells. She is survived by friends, Andrea Snyder and Miriam Stovall; and caregiver, Caroline Dumke. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 2pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Greg Hines officiating. Interment will be on Monday, 10am, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Doug Snyder, Mahlon Stovall, Travis Dumke, Mark Wright, Wesley Finch, and Mark Breedlove. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Nashville Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
