Ann Newton

NEWTON, Ann Winfrey, age 83, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Hendersonville Medical Center. Ann was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church and the Followers Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, W.C. Fig Newton; daughters, Karen Ralph Sumners and Melinda Duane McKee; sister, Jane Headrick; brothers, Hugh Bass Winfrey and Paul David Winfrey; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Goodman and Rev. Ben Alexander officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 p.m. until service hour. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hendersonville F.U.M.C. Love and Concern Circle.
