Graves, Ann Kathryn Walker, age 85. Born November 26, 1920 and died August 27, 2006.
Mrs. Graves was a life long resident of Bells Bend and Scottsboro Community. The third of seven children of Charles Homer and Annie Wittenmeier Walker.
Mrs. Graves was a graduate of Cumberland High School in Bordeaux, David Lipscomb College and attended Middle TN State Teachers College. She taught at Joelton Elementary and Wade Elementary School. She was a member of Scottsboro Church of Christ on Ashland City Highway for more than 50 years. Preceded in death by her husband, George W. Graves, Jr; children, George W. Graves III and Jimmy Fox Graves; sister, Elizabeth Welck; brothers, Frank W. Walker, Charles H. Walker and Stanley Walker. Survived by children, Lena Ann Frank Buck, Linda Joe McKinney, Jerry Julia Graves, Eddie Nancy Graves, Donna Ron Goehring, Sharon Bill Carty, Daniel Teresa Graves, Barbara Randy Ward, Wanda Mark Lovell, Nadine Kyle Bills; sister, Imogene Marlin Haston, of Crossville, TN; 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with JohnTemple and Joe McKinney officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews and nieces, Dr. Roy Parker, Dr. Gary Smith, Ted Craddock and the member of Scottsboro Church of Christ. Donations may be made to the Scottsboro Church of Christ. Visitation will be Tuesday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until service time at
