Angela Johnson

Born in Nashville, TN on March 22nd to the late William Anthony Johnson and Alma Lucille Wade Johnson.

Angie was always on the go, she loved to travel. When her only niece “Callie” came along they went on their runaways. Angie was always 29 until her niece turned 30, and then she went to 39 years old.  Callie was the joy in her life.  Angie was the sweetest, kindest, and would do anything for any person. Angie was a huge Elvis Presley fan, seeing him in concert 5 times live.  She also loved Alan Jackson, Marty Robbins, and Tom Jones.  But no one could come close to Elvis.   She worked for USF&G Insurance Company for over thirty years. She loved and adored her family.

She is survived by her sister Lisa Johnson Dorris, brother-in-law Nicky Ralph Dorris, niece Callie Nicole Dorris, Uncle Grover Wade, devoted cousin Karen Wade Hurt and best friend Will Garrett, as well as many cousins and friends.  We also must not forget her cat “Buddy”.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 22nd, 2023, 2pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. A visitation for Angela will also be on January 22nd from 10am to 2pm.
