Alma Mai Ford �- Age 83, April 17, 2014. She was an active member of The Servant Church in Gallatin, and loved serving alongside her church family. She worked at Baird Ward Printing Company before her retirement. Preceded in death by her husband, James H. Ford; brother, William McLaughlin. Survived by her sons, Darrell Ford (Brenda), Dale Ford (Ann), and Danny Ford (Becky); daughter, Dianne Payne (Jeff); grandchildren, Jim Ford, Jennifer Ford, Julie Ford Thompson, Rachel Ford, Daniel Payne, and Daniela Payne; four great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne McLaughlin; sisters, Jimmie Strickland, Carmene England. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Sunday from 3-8 pm. Chapel service will be Monday at 10 am with Rev. Steve Brigance, officiating. Interment Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna at 12:30 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
