Alice Smith

Alice Dell Hughes Smith, age 73 of Waynesboro, VA passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Hendersonville, TN where she resided for the past 18 years. Mrs. Smith was born December 2, 1937 to Moses Breckenridge and Lottie Mae Phillips Hughes in Wintergreen, VA. She was preceded in death by John R. Smith, Jr. with whom she was married for 27 years,
Siblings, Margarett Hughes Wade, Moses B. Hughes, Jr., Donald W. Hughes, Isabelle Hughes Barkley, James B. Hughes. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Britt Kisshauer and Betty Mike Sakkinen; her grandchildren, Cassia Kisshauer, Dustin Shiplett, Christopher W. Myers and Pamela A. Myers; her sisters, Lois Hughes McGann and Daisy Hughes Henderson; her brothers, Jack and Doug Hughes. Services will be conducted at a later date.
