Alice Hardison

Alice Lillian Reid Hardison, age 86 of Cottontown, passed away on April 9, 2018. Survived by her two sons, Richard and Alva Hardison; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hardison Michael, Rachell Hardison Moody, and Richard A. Hardison; adopted grandchild, Conrad Harison; great-grandchildren, George Edward Michael II, Alestria N. Michael, Brae Phillips, Joer'ct Phillips, Vernon J-W Michael, Alice L. Michael; siblings, Larry Reid and Louise Reid Cox. Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon H. Harison; son, William Manse Hardison; siblings, Tom Reid, John Reid, Kenneth Reid, Alva L. Reid, Jr., Robert Emmit Fowler. Alice loved old hymns, some of her favorites were Amazing Grace and Power in the Blood. Her favorite Bible verses were John 3:16 and Psalm 23. Alice loved to crochet holiday pins. She made rabbits for Easter, Turkeys for Thanksgiving, pumpkins for Halloween, shamrocks for St. Patricks Day, and hearts for Valentine's Day. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House Friday from 4-8 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday April 14, at 10 am with interment to follow at Hardison Hills Family Cemetery in Cottontown.
