Ada Bass

BASS, Ada Mai Age 90. Born in Davidson Co. June 29, 1917, passed away at the Hillcrest Healthcare Center May 12, 2008. Mrs. Bass was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, having served in numerous capacities. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William Norman Bass; parents, Russell and Florence Woody, granddaughter, Karen Bass Hayes. Mrs. Bass is survived by her son, William Edward Marjorie Bass; great-grandchildren, Craig, Chris and Cassie Hayes; sister, Eloise Craddock; sister-in-law, Aileen Lee; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be at 2 pm, Friday, May 16, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Gholson officiating. Pallbearers are Randall Hayes, Carl Johnson, Sam Helm, Ben Smith, Johnny Guy and Rob Hunt. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or Alive Hospice.
