Priscilla Day

Priscilla “Faye” Day, 67, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Sumner ”Regional Medical Center. Born in Nashville, December 6, 1954, Faye was the daughter of the late William Peek and Effie “Irene” Fiddler. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Elbert Fiddler; a brother, Danny Fiddler; and a sister, Sue White. Faye grew up in the Inglewood area of Nashville. She was an outgoing and extremely social individual and loved her daily calls and keeping in touch through Facebook. She was kindhearted but possessed a strong will and was never afraid to be outspoken. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved the beach, especially Panama City Beach, planning vacations, and her trips to the casino. When it came to food, Faye hated cooking but loved Pepsi. Faye was a colon cancer survivor and had also recovered from triple bypass surgery. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lee Thomas Day, Sr.; her children, Michelle Sandlin (Shannon), Erika Gilbert, Christina Day (Zeke Woodside), Lee Thomas Day, Jr. (Nikki Walston) and sister, Rachel Freeman (Mike); grandchildren, Logan Sandlin, Mickaela Sandlin, Steven Stewart, Jr., Kelsea Greer, Michael Greer, and Thomas Day; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service for Faye will be held Thursday, April 14th at 6:00 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 PM immediately followed by the service.
